Seeing You for You

It is still hard to see you,
as a person.

I look at the screen and see a scary face,
typing scary words;
I forget to look beyond and see the person typing those words,
the words which, really, aren't scary at all.

I keep forgetting,
about how things aren't so paper thin after all,
but I make them so,
by forgetting,
to remember.
